I'm George, a motion designer and animator based in Cairo. I graduated from the German University in Cairo with a degree in Media Design and worked on various projects since then in the advertising and game industries as Art Director in small teams. I have worked on motion design projects as well as animated films, live action VFX shorts, with experience across the pipeline. From initial ideas, to storyboards and animatics, design and art direction, 2D (and to a lesser extent) 3D animation, and finally compositing.
I believe that, to be wholly human, one cannot separate their career from other aspects of their life. Therefore, I hope to be able to work on projects that reflect my personal commitment to being a better person physically and spiritually, by learning from our past to find a better future. I'm passionate about my faith, about philosophy, about making music, about art (especially folk and traditional forms), and working out. My dream is to incorporate these aspects into the projects I work on and find friends all over the world who share that same vision so that we can tell better stories in our present world, together.
